Lottie's Wardrobe: The Neverest Challange

It's climb time!

Myself, Nikki Pike and the team are very excited to announce our charity event on the 6th June 2015. We are having a fundraiser in aid of Willen Hospice and Climbing against cancer. On the day, Nikki Pike (Event organiser) and the community will be aiming to climb the height of Mt Everest in a day (29,029FT). Is it possible? Absolutely, but we need as much help as possible. In order to participate there will be a £5 charge to have five tries of getting to the top however the height you climb to will still be counted, all money made tomorrow will be going to charity.

You don't have to be an expert climber for this, we are going to have three marks, if you get to the first 1/4, your climb will be counted, the further you can get up the better! Make sure if you are attending tomorrow's event everyone is wearing clean trainers,with laces done up nice and tight, ensure that you and your company are not wearing any heels, boots etc. If you are wearing shorts, they need to be below the knee and we will not allow anyone on the wall if they are wearing skirts, dresses or tights, leggings are okay to wear.

Throughout the day the Ellis Brigham team, the volunteers from Willen Hospice and one of our climbing members will be thankfully helping out, we have some sweet raffle prizes to give out (did someone say a free chicken at Nandos!??) , food stalls and music throughout the day, including a Dj playing some sweet mixes.

This event will be taking place in the Xscape, Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports. 'Is that the one with the massive climbing walls in a shop?' Yeah ,that one! The two walls have different heights, smallest being 38FT and tallest being 43FT.

'It's not the winning, it's the taking part' All we ask from you guys is to come along, have a laugh and get rid of that fear of heights, climbing is very safe with our auto-belay and the best part is jumping down! (instructors are with you at all times). If you know Xscape well you may have seen the signs everywhere, I mean everywhere!
